klara.detroit is a one girl enterprise run from an apartment in Stockholm, Sweden. The gal behind all this is Hanna. She is 24, used to be blonde, likes bright colors, has big feet and is very loquacious.
klara.detroit has nothing to do with the name Klara nor the city of Detroit. Instead it comes from the first sentence in a short story by Doris Lessing Hanna once mis-read and it kind of stuck.
The stencils are made by hand by Hanna herself (though she might sometimes use her friend Maria to do boring ironing). All fabric products are to be washed in 40° C if not stated otherwise.
